i recently picked up some procomp beadlocks that I couldn't really find much info about before I got them. So I figured I'd post something here for others to see.

First off they are 17x9, 4.75 backspace, -5mm offset.

Secondly they are really good looking wheels. The beadlock ring is pretty beefy it has a nice brushed finish. The inner bead lip is a little weak but should be okay.

The worst part about mounting these was tightening the ring bolts. Each wheel took about 20 minutes or so of wrenching. But that's standard for beadlocks.

I used 10oz bags of dynabeads for balancing in each wheel. I haven't test driven it yet so we'll see how well that works.

The hardware was all grade 8 with some fancy lock washers that I can't remember their exact name.

The wheels came in at 33.4lbs without the ring and hardware and 37.3 with ththe rings and hardware. Matching that is my heavy ass tire at 71.2. :benchpress:

Anyway here's a bunch of pics. This review sucks but you get the gist. Typing a review from a phone is never easy. :help:

That's it. Any questions let me know!

Not that anyone cares about this but the 10oz dynabeads are perfect. Even up to 75ish the tires are perfectly smooth.

    How about another pic?

Super old thread, but I'm very surprised these wheels don't have more info online about them. They look good, and I'm assuming they work well as beadlocks? I've been looking into them in black with the 3.75" backspace version.

How are they on the highway? Im guessing you ignored that big warning sticker? Haha

Haha. Yep I showed my wife and laughed at it. As you said I’m really surprised there is nothing online about them.

I love them. I think I have around 10k miles on them so far. The bolts have never loosened. I still have the same powder that I used to balance them. They work great aired down as well.

Zero complaints. They look good too.

Mine are still going strong. Zero leakage. No loose bolts. Nothing.

Was considering the newer "Trilogy Race" - which appear to just be a newer version of the same wheel. But the price difference is over $200 for a set of 4 and Pro Comp doesnt really detail the differences

I still want these. I don't understand why the 3.75" bs wheels are so much more expensive though.

What would the difference be going from a 17x9 with -12mm offset, 4.5" Backspacing to these wheels with -5mm offset and 4.75" backspacing? I always forget how wheel backspacing and offset work. Will the tire be wider or narrower.

Tire will be the same width either way, but a "lower" backspace (4.5") will poke out more than a "higher" backspace (4.75")

Should have worded that differently but you still figured out what i was trying to say. Was talking about the tire poke. So by going to higher backspacing the tire poke will be a .25 in less right?

    yes that's right.

Backspace is the measurement from the mounting face of the wheel to the inside lip of the wheel. Thus, if you have small backspace, the inside of the lip is closer to the mounting face, and the outside lip is further away giving more wheel "poke". Hopefully that makes sense?

3" back space would poke out of the wheel well an inch further than 4" back space.

Order got cancelled. 4wheelparts said they are discontinued even though they are still listed on the site and told me to pound sand.

That’s dumb. And too bad. They are good wheels and priced nicely. Maybe that’s why.

Their new version are over 300 a wheel. No longer a good price as they are the same as every other beadlocks.
