Should be fine after a zero point calibration. Do yourself a favor and go with Maxtrac spindles instead of anything Procomp. Unless it's to late......

    Bottom of the barrel

If you intend to stay prerunner with standard travel... maxtracs 6.5 or 4inch with some icon coilovers at 2 inch would be dope

What do you mean something else? Like as in if you don't like the Procomp lift you'll switch to a different drop bracket lift?

The problem is, once you cut the crossmember there is no "going back" , the damage will be done. A shame really, but people who dont know better do it all the time i guess.

If you got the basic kit you can always get the full length rcd bilstein shocks for up front so you don't have to install the tall top hat spacer and your original shock/coil set up.

Yeah I've been looking into just getting the full leangth instead of using the front strut but not sure on what would be good

Are you doing the coilover kit or just the standard system? They aren't bottom of the barrel, Rough Country is worse than PC. PC also has their PC Promise which covers the entire truck 5yr/60k miles.
    http://www.procompusa.com/warranty

We have installed numerous of them, most of the VSC issues is to due with the alignment.
