I have a 2018 white TRD sport. I installed wind deflectors on my front driver and pass windows. when i put the window up they hit the deflectors and come back down. Has any one have this problem and is there a way of fixing this problem thanks

Did you make sure they were all the way up in the window channel (plastic can be stiff when cooler) and that they are lined up with the window path? I have had to adjust some slightly on first install to get the window started but but once it goes all the way up they should all be auto aligned and set. Is it happening to all the windows?

I had no problem with my 2020. Cold will definitely affect them. Also, I would put the widows up partially, first, and then close them fully. You might also press in on the window slightly as it is going up and into the channel. Once you have them up, leave them up for at least a day - or more if it is cold - and try to get them in the sun, if you can. I've had mine in for almost a year and have had no problems at all.

    Working on it ...
Good info here. I got a set of these for Christmas for the front and back door windows on my 2019 4 x 4 sport. Have not installed them yet due to cold and snowy weather but would like to get them on within the next few weeks.

Hoping they help eliminate some of the weird noises/sounds the window makes when the back windows are open.

I did the same thing. Except I pried the deflector “out” instead of pressing on the window.
Be careful, roll the window up slow and watch your fingers.

Left them up for about a week, and all has be good since.

I have wondered, since mine have been in over 10+ years, what would happen if I ever removed them?
I’m betting the seal has to have a permanent “indentation” by now. Would they leak. Wind noise?

No big deal. If I ever remove them, it will be to replace them. I love mine.

I had to remove the front ones because the windows wouldn’t close fully. Tried everything to get the windows to close all the way, but no dice. Got tired of hearing wind noise.

Tried them again on a warm day. That did the trick. Thanks.

Mine did the same thing. Saw the problem area by rub marks, I hit it with a dremel. Problem solved.

Hi guys i fixed the issue with the windows if you put the car power windows on with out the engine on and put the window up holding the button in the up position till the windows close holding the button in the up position for 5 seconds it resets the auto safety on the window if that makes any sense its in the owners manual
