    Afternoon all,

Searched for it and didn't find much. Looking to see what mods people have done to their Prinsu Cab racks. I just installed mine last weekend and have some ideas in mind.

    - As far as wind noise what has everyone done to lower it?
    - Lighting: Anyone running marker lights on it? Where/how do you have your work/scene lights? Anybody trim out the front fairing to put some light pods besides God @MESO ??
    - Anybody rocking a 180* awning out there?
    - Fishing rod racks?

    Thanks all

I don't have a prinsu but I have a sherpa Grand Teton that is pretty much the same thing let's be honest. I will be trimming my front fairing to allow for a 43" light bar amber/white to be exposed. No sense in buying the already cut replacement fairing since it is aluminum and easy enough to cut.

I've also thought about purchasing some angled flush mount scene lights to put on the sides. Again easy enough to cut a hole for these. In another thread today one guy was using his wood router to cut entire side pieces of aluminum.

For a rod rack you could go the budget route with a large diameter PVC. Or you could go with the bad ass $$ route of https://www.yakima.com/topwater or their double haul if you're a fly guy.

Connected them with a Y harness and ran the pair of wires down the windshield groove on the passenger side. Just like how I did my S8 wires on the drivers side. Hooked them into my spod

Do it! I put it off for the longest time and it’s seriously the best thing ever. I have the “cheapo” $360 one that uses physical switches

Where did you routs the wires for the S1’s?
I’m wanting to do something similar.

OP , not light related but I have my Maxtrax and Pelican case on top. I have the awning brackets, but no awning yet. Also planning on adding 40” light bar up front

I pulled off the very front crossbar. That seemed to help a bit. I’m thinking of putting some black vinyl wrap on the front of each crossbar to cover the seam in the bar. I think that would soften the noisy some.

My answer is above. On the rack itself I just zip tied it to the underside of the crossbar, then ran it down the side, down the windshield and into the engine bay

I’ve got an idea of mounting some smoked amber marker lights (on the fairing) to tie in the raptor style grille lights as running lights. What are people’s thoughts?

As much as I like the wiring down the driver said frame, when you start factoring in multiple lighting accessories/wires—probably gonna need an alternative no? Tried to score one of Meso’s old 3rd brake light prototypes that had a wire routing port with no success

Are you talking about the first one right after the fairing? I was thinking of pulling that one and the one over my sunroof and then i purchased a SHITLOAD of t slot covers hoping that helps a bunch. I am a dummy and lowered my tire pressure and installed the rack at the same time but it hit my MPG pretty good, was only getting about 18 before and now im slighting under 16
