Didn't realize that's basically what this was- I was just looking at it for the fishing rod holder aspect.

Ok how is everyone mounting the Maxtrax on their rack? I have the Maxtrax pins but the bolts are larger than the slots will take. Thanks Ray

 

Mounted Hi Lift and shovel with Shove Lock. Not to hard and the shovel has a lock. Just need to secure the hi lift still. And now I know why people get the sock for the high lift. It is a rattle party up there. I do need to move the shovel forwards to the front some still.

 

It does perform well, just wish I got a spot instead of combo.

 

Looking for quick answer...how's your everyone mounting their traction ramps? 1/4" carriage bolts but how long?

Specifically asking about maxsa escaped buddies. TIA

 

I used 1/4"x20 3" long carriage bolts. But i guess I have my cross bars too farly spaced? I have the bolts on the front of the Maxsa boards, but nothing on the rear. I used @Shmellmopwho cable to secure the rear. Its not going anywhere.

Are you trying to flip that thing over? Cool shot. Why didn't you secure the rears with same carriage bolts?

 

was planning on going through the mud pit, but then i started taking on water.

I didnt secure the rear because I have an access cab and I dont think my bars are configured for the full length. I plan on adding a 40" light bar soon, and in that picture, the back of the Maxsa boards go past the end of the rack. I cant change them (or I can, but it will take alot more work) because I drilled holes in the bottom of the plano box, and I would need to fill them, and re-drill more holes. Not a huge issue, but if the Maxsa's are good now, then Im ok

 

I ordered some J Hooks for my kayaks anyone else try these? Looks like I will have to modify the bottom mounting brackets.

 

Gotcha. Makes sense. If that's the case then I think I'll be able to secure both front and back on the double cab cabrac. Man you are a brave dude

Hello All,
I must say thank you to many people on this thread. This thread is super informative and made the decsion to buy a PrinSu rack that much easier. Like many have said..it is worth the wait. One thing I noticed is I could not find many photos of a 2 row light bar so for those of you wanting this info or those looking here is a Cali-Raised 42" installed. I ran the
wires down the drivers side window channel. I will replace the bolts holding the light in place with the security bolts and I will tack the bolts mounting the light to the rack..still need to find that post with the security bolts for the cross bars...
