Watching the Karcher video on Amazon it looks like it comes with a medium tip for car washing, a rotary tip for concrete, and an adjustable tip for everything else. I have a rotary tip for my Sun Joe that I use a lot for cleaning concrete
    https://www.amazon.com/AURORA-CAR-P...x=pressure+sprayer+tip,lawngarden,128&sr=1-16

For car washing I use the 25, 40 and rotary the most. I might get out the 15 if the bug splats are really bad. And, I almost never use the 0 for anything. The spray is too concentrated and will strip the paint off your house or leave marks on the concrete.

I got mine in 3 years ago and share it with my brother in law. We both use it a lot in the spring cleaning up the mess left by winter. We'll use it to wash our cars too, but if my truck is muddy I take it to the car wash and leave mud with them and not in my driveway.

    My apologies it’s a 2700psi unit. It’s a Lowe’s exclusive. It’s not on their website.

Do yourself a favor and get a surface cleaner rated for your washer.

Such as I cannot tell if the pressure washer you linked uses the "Pressure washer association" standard connector, if so it should be easy to find other attachments.

Edit: From the looks of it yours does not use a standard fitting. You will need to get sunjoe attachments then and the surface cleaner linked above won't work for you

[IMG] Looks like OP has made a choice. FWIW; usually I rent a nice Commercial unit from the local rental joint one weekend a year ($100 ish). Run it 2-3 days straight with the house, fence, deck etc. it’s a daunting task, and gets put off a lot.

Don’t want another large and $ gas machine at the house and figured a good electric unit would allow me flexibility to break it down into separate sessions as time permitted.

~$225 I picked up the top electric unit at Horror Freight. I’d say it’s good enough, all in not as efficient as a 5HP gas unit for sure in terms of power. But getting the job done; just takes more time. (I’ll also be able to store it in basement and share with Family)

For car washing you don't need a ton of psi. I use a Kranzle 1322TS from obsessed garage and keep an older gas 3100psi Honda pressure washer for heavy duty tasks like driveway/patio cleaning.

Obsessed Garage has an active 2.0 that's around $350 with stellar reviews. You can upgrade the hose and accessories from MTM Hydro later on.

Send that joeblow back for the active 2.0 imo.

This. This. This. I've had a couple of the standard homeowner, box store pressure washers and started using a foam cannon. It was an improvement to regular hose washing but still not a great experience. When my pressure washer crapped out I ponied up the $$ for the Active 2.0 pressure washer and upgraded accessories.

I'm blown away at the difference between this setup and what I had before. A better pressure washer, properly setup with the right orifices and accessories makes a difference I just couldn't imagine before using it. This is one of those things that you have to use it to believe it. I should have done this years ago. Now combined with a deionized water setup I've cut my car washing time at least in half. Time is money.

Yeah, a deionized tank helps a ton. I'm using this DI Rinse Pro 100, but any size tank and the rest of the components can be sourced separately for cheaper.

I went down the pressure washer research rabbit hole a couple months ago and finally decided on the AR Blue Clean BC390HSS (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HQXLX5J) for small jobs around the house and eventually for use with a foam cannon on the vehicles. I was worried about the quality as it's a name that wasn't known to me, but it seems to be built well and it performs about as well or better than the older gas-powered Craftsman unit I had a few years ago.

I bought essentially the same thing from another source. Similar pricing by my place may have been a little cheaper but hard to tell without looking at all the specific add ons and such. Either way, great setup. I've only used it a couple times and it's been great, now just need to do a more "permanent" install of the tank.

We have pretty darn hard water so the big question is how long it's gonna last before I have to buy expensive replacement resin. Even if it only lasts a year it'll be well worth the time and headaches it saves me.

I get about a year on the resin, but I have a whole house water purification system and an Aquasure whole house 48k grain softener with an extra in line carbon and sediment filter. (Also have R.O. in the kitchen.)

For whatever reason the last two times I've ordered replacement resin from Di Rinse they've shipped me 2 bags in separate shipments even though I only paid for one. :cookiemonster:

No other filtration here at our place, although we are planning to get a soft water system at some point - unfortunately it will probably need to wait until we do a full repiping :(
