Hey all, wondering if any here been to Premier West gears and how was your experience.looking to change gears to 4.88’s Been in contact with Miguel seems very professional. I live in Vegas so before I drive 250 miles it would be helpful to hear other’s experiences with install and long term gear swap reliability. Miguel can obtain Nitro, Yukon and Revolution. Any suggestions on which brand to choose and is Premier West gears that good considering I’m looking at a round trip of 500 miles. It’s a challenge to find a shop in town with the experience.

I have had 4.88 Nitros for about 2 years. They are fine. More whine than stock. I have read here on TW that Revolution are the premium set.

Why don’t you also consider @Jason TRD OR Sibi Built. Over 500 plus 5 star reviews. Can’t beat that. Haven’t read negative reviews regarding his shop here either .

I got my 5.29s done at premier west gear. Mine have been fine for years. It's possible the negative reviews are overblown or a scaling problem(they do a ton of regear jobs).

I've had very good experience with them. I ran a group buy for them last spring and we had around 100 trucks regeared through them including my own and have not had any problems. Everything went very smooth and quickly. Because of this we decided to host another one so if you are planning on getting it done in the near future be sure to jump in on the group buy and save yourself a few bucks
