Hey! Wondering if I can power my diesel heater using a Noco boost jump starter.

    I’ve got a
    Noco GB70 (12V 2000A) and GB50 (12V 1500A)

and a Vevor diesel air heater 5KW
    12V 40W (model WF 5001)

I just dont want to fry the electronics in the heater with the hard kicking jump starter battery.

Both the heater and battery are 12V, but I don’t know about amperage and all that.
    Think it’ll work?

    Thanks,
    Adam

It should work fine, the 12v is probably to run pump and fan and electronics. I can't imagine its gonna be a huge amp draw. 4 amps at max draw as I am guessing the 40w is a reference to the electrical draw. A tiny motorcycle battery is usually at least 8 amp hours dont know the capacity of the two jump packs referenced, but I imagine they are probably good for at least 20 or 30 amp hours, keeping in mind you don't wanna do a full discharge as it shortens cell life.

It won’t last and likely won’t even work. The larger GB70 only has 4.67AH of power and would run the heater for maybe an hour or two before being completely dead.

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
I don't think this set up will work well. When I just bought NOCO booster GB 70, (Just in case to have)
I was so excited about: If it says can start 10 (or 15) big engines without battery, how many hundreds of I Phones (my wife's I Phone) it can charge?
Well, first camping trip we find, it can charge I Phone only once... That's it! Thing designed for short peak amp boost, but nothing like long constant draw.
Buy marine grade rechargeable battery, maintain it well. Done!
