I recently replaced my interior fuse relay box on my truck due to my main headlights not working and now my power windows and locks don't work. I did install a keyless entry a while back and when I hit the lock and unlock, it flashes the fog lights around the truck 2 for unlock and 3 times for lock, But the power lock themselves don't work. The power mirrors work, but none of the windows work on any of the doors.

Where/what wire connections should I check to see what the problem? What wires could I check with a multi-meter to diagnose?

I plugged in all the same connectors on the back of the new fuse relay box and swapped my old fuses over. My power windows and locks DID work before I replaced the fuse box and none of the fuses have blown before or after the installation.

First thing I’d check (with an ohm meter) is the window fuses. If they show zero ohms, check for power at the window fuse socket, in the new fuse box. Also check if the window fuse socket is tight and clean.

Just where did the new fuse block come from?? Was it brand new just the bare plastic block?

Something not connected or bent or corroded pins ?

I'm guessing you know already & sorry if I'm stating anything obvious but I'll mention it here anyway. #27 (30A) is the fuse for the power windows & door locks.

My master window switch burned a few months months back. So if that fuse is good & the master window switch is unplugged, none of the power windows will work but the door locks will still work. Since none of that is working for you, start by pulling out that 30A fuse & check continuity. I blew 3 of them before I figured out what was going on & one of them that blew didn't look like it was blown looking through the cover.

Turned out to be the used fuse block I bought. I bought two (one-off an ebay auction for cheap and another that was $160) and in both of them the power locks and windows didn't work but the headlights worked. Threw back in my old fuse block and the windows and locks worked fine, no headlights.

Don't know if I'd be able to do a bypass circuit for either the power windows/locks or headlight switch or would it be easier to go out and try and find a fuse block where everything works? LMK

By Fuse block you do mean just the plastic part that you need to insert all the hardware??

You traced your head light failure to the fuse block just what was wrong ??

The head light circuit shorted and melted that section of the fuse block to a plastic blob.

Just why would the Power locks and windows not work on 2 different fuse blocks ??

How much more money do you want to spend hoping to get a good piece of plastic?

Do you have any friends close that could help?

Do you have the Toyota Electrical Wiring Diagrams for your Truck? I know I could not figure out just How to wire a fuse block without the diagrams .

Having the EWD it would be easy to build a work around you just would need some added hardware.

Much better in the long run to find and fix the original problem.

If you were close I would help. Good luck!!
