I read numerous threads with people talking about power stop pads and rotors but does anyone hsve any reviews on power stop calipers?

Never mind. It seems they are just rebuilt stock toyota calipers with powder coating. So performance will be the same.

I put those calipers on my TSX because I could get them for the same price as any other rebuilt caliper on Rock Auto. I'm hoping the powder coating will last longer than the "high temp" paint found on the other calipers. And yes, I only expect them to provide the same braking force as new OEM calipers. I recommend buying them if you need to replace your calipers, not if you're looking for better braking performance.

My TSX spent the first 6-7 years of it's life in the NE salt environment, and the original calipers were showing the effects. Everything was rusty, and at least one front and one rear piston had "restricted" movement, thus it was time to replace everything. Now my TSX brakes function like new.

If I were to replace the front calipers on my X-Runner, I would definitely upgrade. I think this truck is significantly "under-braked" from the factory. I think Toyota's plan was for everyone to buy the TRD Big Brake kit for $2K+. I'll probably buy a set of brackets that allow me to run 4-piston Tacoma 4X4 brake calipers if they will fit under the stock wheels. No intentions of buying anything that requires me to also buy new wheels...that's a cost I'm not willing to make.

I went with a set of the power stop calipers. They were $208.99, and free shipping from summit. That was a bargain compared to what my local chain auto part stores were getting. They do a real nice job refinishing them. Power stop must only select the best cores to use. Mine were so rusty there’s no way that they’re gonna be refinished like what I received. Very happy I went with them.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pwr-s2984/year/2010/make/toyota/model/tacoma I’d have preferred black but they weren’t in stock and still appear to not be.

I think they are worth it for the powder coating. You aren't going to get better for the money than reman Toyota cores anyways, unless you want to go really expensive for Big Brake Kits. I think the best bang for buck is switching to the bigger brakes and rotors (338mm) of the V8 4Runner/GX470: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...t-oem-parts-part-s-provided-installed.443656/ You can still go Powerstop calipers with something like EBC Slotted Dimpled Rotors and just upgrade to the bigger 4Runner dust shields.
