Power steering return line

    I’m having to go back and forth with myself on which line it is. I have seen people say it’s always the one on the bottom but the one on the left looks like it is the return valve for low pressure and the other hose is high pressure.

    Sorry if i put this thread in the wrong place I’m new haha

    Larger line is usually the return line in a hydraulic system.

    The one on the bottom goes to the power steering pump (suction). The line on the top is the return line. When flushing your system the hose on top is the one you catch the old fluid as you fill the container (reservoir).

    The disconnected line (using a clear hose to prevent reservoir from draining) in the pic is the return line. Note pic is facing toward radiator
