Hey everyone, I've got a 98 taco v6 4x4 woth a 6 inch fabtech lift. I've had this power steering problem for quite some time. It's leaking out of the return line fitting going into the rack. The only issue is that it's at a crazy sharp 90⁰ angle because of my lift kit and I can't find it or have someone custom make it anywhere. Any info would be greatly apreciated. 20211215_124405.jpg

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
No place makes hydraulic hoses near you ?

No Heavy Equipment or farm machinery dealers they were great for building odd ball lines for me.

Then sadly the Mom and Pop shops are going away now they just order the line from the manufacture

    Good luck

Did the line come with the fab tech lift kit??

Have you looked to them for a replacement?

If factory a part out or used.

Unfortunately it did not come with the kit I've already asked. I could try and find a used one.

Have you snugged up the worm clamp? I would degrease it and make sure you know whats leaking. To me, over a phone screen, the fitting dosent look like its the source.

For some reason, I didn't even think about that, I'll try it thanks.

Interesting, 90 deg fittings are not uncommon in hydraulics though that one does look like a very tight squeeze.

No idea what thread the rack uses but you might be able to cobble together some fittings from Surplus Center

No problem. I'd start with giving that a simple green bath, checking the hose for splits, and tightening the clamp before dropping money on fittings though :)

I was thinking the same thing I am guessing the people you talked to were to busy or just did not feel like messing with that job.

Sad but true it is sometimes how well you know people.

Yeah probably I wish that wasn't the case.
