Well since I'm gonna be messing with the system I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on them.
And if you did put one in let's see a pic of were you put it .
Some of the different types that I've found in my recent searches.
A traditional finned. Seems similar to what most oem's use. They work good as long as your moving or air is moving over them.
Derale 13200 Power Steering Cooler Kit, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006HNM66
Plate style. Similar to the fin but more surface area.
PKSABB AN8-8AN Stacked Plate Oil Cooler 6AN Adapter Universal Engine Transmission Aluminium (Silver,AN8-13Row) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VNGC8WP
There's also heat sink which is supposed to be more effective at little to no air movement than the other styles.

    Duel pass version.
Derale 13260 Dual Pass Aluminum Heat Sink Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004XONQYG

I was thinking about adding the heat sink style. But would love to hear about others experiences.

I can’t imagine this would be needed on our trucks unless you’re doing something very unusual with the truck. Seems like a solution in search of a problem for most users

I got one on my truck..... for the high flow/hydro assist setup...

It'll be overkill for a factory setup imo.

Since my truck was missing the factory “cooler” (really just a couple extra bends in the return line), I installed a derale 13211.

Welded on a couple of tabs to mount it to. Been in there over a year now, so far so good.
