Have 2001 Tacoma Prerunner Double Cab the power windows are not working and the power locks don't work when I use the key fob. To unlock the doors I have to use the key. From what I've read people say to check the ACC (accessory?) fuse on the driver side fuse box, that fuse is fine. Anyone have other suggestions? Thanks!

Just happened the other day, didn't notice anything obvious. Will take a look at the fuses again. Funny thing I was driving to work thinking my truck has treated me well. Got to work and didn't lock when I used the key fob.

Do the doors lock via the Master Switch control ??

Did you by chance hit the window lock locking the windows

Does your key Fob live in your pocket or most of the time at work someplace else?

It does happen that something depresses the button on the key fob long enough to drain the battery which is about the last thing anyone thinks about.I have learned to not keep them in my pocket

    Some ideas !!

I should have been clear. I can arm and disarm the alarm using the key fob but the locks just don't work along with the windows. I have checked the windows lock button.

Hey all. I’m having a similar problem with my 03 double cab. My 30a power fuse keeps blowing so windows and locks don’t work at all. The only thing that works is the driver door unlock via remote. Other than that it’s all dead. Does anyone have any ideas? Shouldn’t the lock not work at all in theory as the fuse is blown? Maybe a short with the latch?
