Possible to remove drop-in bed liner without destroying it?

I recently purchased a 2000 Taco with a drop in bed-liner, similar to the pic attached here, not my truck but looks to be the same setup.
I have briefly tried to remove it, but the front lip (the only part of the liner that actually goes over and around the bed) seems to be impossible to get off without breaking/cutting it. I want to inspect what is under the liner, since I fear there may be rust and who knows what else, I can see rust on the edges where the liner rubs against the bed.

Is there a way to take off these liners without destroying them? Ideally I'd like to put it back in afterwards.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
Lift the bed liner from the middle back by the tailgate. The back should lift out first.

You may have to bend the center up pretty far to get the sides to come out.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I got mine out without breaking it and it was the same thing. Just takes some working around to figure it out. Definitely don't want to keep it in there, they trap moisture under there and it never comes out. I have a rust hole in my bed thanks to mine being in there for so many years before I bought the truck. If you want a bedliner do a roll on or spray in and call it a day.

I second that. Drop in bed liners do more harm than good in my opinion.

I also hate how they make things just slide around back there. Have to strap everything down.
