Has anyone added rear parking sensors to a model that didn't have them stock? I have a 2022 AC MT sport without BSM or parking sensors. I just bought an aftermarket bumper with holes for the sensors and wondering if they can easily be added. Otherwise the bumper came with little caps I can install...
I don't care about BSM, just parking sensors

I asked that question year ago shortly after buying my 2022 MT AC Sport. Dealer said they could addd it but upon further questioning they admitted all they could add was an aftermarket kit for BSM that did not integrate into the side mirrors. If your truck was built like mine, you do not have the wiring harnesses and would be a major hassle to add them. See this link for how to check if you have the harness connector for the rear sensors.

Thanks I appreciate the info. I'll check for the connector when I'm replacing the bumper. But it sounds like a pain to add.
I wish Toyota would just pre-wire all the features in all the models. It would be awesome if we could just plug and play features like BSM, camera, etc. But I guess it's a way to cut costs and make us buy certain packages on new trucks

I’m curious about adding rear parking sensors too. The biggest hurdle might be the ECU activation.
