I got my new 2022 Tacoma 4x4 in late August. One thing I noticed shortly after getting the truck is that it looks to me like there is a positive camber on both front wheels. The picture below isn't the best, but hopefully you can see what I am observing.

I would find it strange that a truck could leave the factory with the front wheels out of alignment, but I guess this is possible.

I guess I will bring it up with the dealer when my truck is due for its first service. But I certainly don't want uneven wear on my tires, so maybe I should bring this up now. Does anyone have experience with this?

For what it's worth, my brand new off road needed an alignment as the front end was out of whack enough to cause a pulling condition for me.

I don’t see anything wrong. Warranty for alignment is 12 months so I’m sure they can check it out for you if you are concerned.

I think just about every stock Tacoma I've seen, both 3G & 2G have visibly positive camber. I figured it was for overall stablity.

Mine has a positive camber as well. Been like that the day I picked it up from the dealership brand new. My tires have been wearing out pretty evenly and have just a little over 15k on it

Factory spec for a tacoma is in fact 0.5* positive camber. I personally usually align with more than that because it helps straight line stability as in the truck wouldn't want to follow the deep ruts in the lane from heavy trucks and positive camber makes your steering a bit easier.

Spec is .5 degrees positive, plus/minus .75 degrees.
Positive camber is desirable for straight line stability.

If you require an alignment make sure its done in the first 10k miles, or 1 year you own the truck, or toyota will not allow it under warranty.

My truck was like this even after getting an alignment at the toyota dealer. Either they didn't do it or it's factory spec. Noticed the same thing on an FJ cruiser too.

Thats normal. Mine was pretty bad. I had it realigned after I replaced my coilovers with the fox 2.0. I still have some positive camber but its much less than stock

The camber spec range is -.2* to+1.3* so these trucks are most certainly designed with positive camber. And I believe my truck has+.5* and looks very similar to yours. I'll bet yours in spec but if you think it's not, take it in

Well, as long as my tires don't end wearing prematurely on the outside of the tire, I guess I won't worry about it too much. I'm about to put some 5100s on there soon and will need an alignment after that anyway.

But dang, between this and the Taco lean - my truck looks like a bow-legged guy with a pimp limp.

Once lifted factory specs can be thrown out the window. When lifted closer to 0 for camber 3 - 4 caster / 0 toe. Every rig is different.
