    Hello team,
What brand are you guys using for compressor needs? I'm a little embarrassed to say this but I bought a Harbor Freight compressor and it promptly blew my truck cigarette lighter fuse on the first try...I tried the other slot and it blew that too.:facepalm:it did not stop there. I then tried on the Jeep...blew that too...:lalala:

You could look for an A/C one that pulls 400W or less and use the bed outlet since you have a TRD truck.

My parents have a small compressor that I've used on my 400W outlet. I think it's a Husky from Home Depot.

I have a Master Flow from Autozone that I snagged on a 35% off coupon for under $40. Connects straight to the battery and is truck tire rated. Lot of good reviews of it on TW.
I wouldn't use the kind that plug into the cigarette lighter. I've had them before, actually that's all I've had. They're slow, light duty and not meant to air up large volume tires like we have on our trucks.

Return that one to HF and get their basic pancake compressor that plugs into a standard home outlet. Plug it into the bed outlet with the 400w switch enabled & you're done.

    X2. Same one I have.

I fit it in its storage bag and a battery pack behind in driver side cubby. Fits like a glove.

Funny you should ask that, I was considering checking that to see it it could be permanantly mounted/wired in there but I was concerned prolonged humidity would cause problems?

I don't believe it fits. It's not a super compact compressor.

I can confirm in 30 minutes or so.

I saw a picture on here somewhere of a guy who had a compressor mounted behind the plastic of his bedliner. Seemed like a super slick idea if anybody knows how to do something similar and what compressor he used

I think I have a Diablo twin cylinder made by masterflow, I think. Aired up 8 tires one right after the other.

If I'm not mistaken I believe that is the compressor setup for the Firestone Ride rite airbags.

I have a portable Campbell Hausefeld (spelling?) in the bed of my truck that I plug into the bed outlet. Comes in handy to air up my travel trailer tires before hitting the road. I keep it bungied to my bed extender.
