Anyone have a set up with a pop up truck camper. What size fits best and weight? Did you have to do anything to back shocks.

I don't have one but have done a bit of research. Very few companies make one for out trucks, and even fewer "recommend" them as they often very much overload the truck.
The best is probably 4 Wheel Campers. And I honestly don't know of any other company currently making ones for our trucks. SixPac used to make one that fit, as well as Lance but I can't recall the models.
Then there are the wedge camper style, like the ones that Go Fast Campers and Vagabond Outdoors makes. These don't have the sealed camper advantage, but are much lighter and more versatile.
Then there are the old school flip over types like the flip-pac. There were a few other companies that made them, but they are old and hard to find nowadays.

As far as dealing with the weight, yes you will have to upgrade your leaf springs or install airbags or both. This is highly dependent on how heavy your camper is and how much lift you want when it is loaded.

Not super relevant but I’ll bet you’d be interested:

I’m in love with his setup and if I had the $$$ I’d be going for something like this

Edit: they’re called GoFastCampers. They have a website

I have a 4 Wheel Fleet camper for my 2010. I did the Boise Spring Works spring kit for the Tacoma. I also run E-rated tires. The camper rides fine, but I could use more horse power to put it mildly. I have the 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed manual transmission. The camper weighs about 1200 lbs lightly loaded for a trip.
