    I have a 2019 Tacoma with a 6 Sp standard transmission.
Can I still drift-coast the truck and engage the clutch to start it (as in my earlier trucks)?

    Also,
what mode does the "Clutch Start Cancel Switch" need to be in to coast start the engine?

    Thanks, Ed.

The "Clutch Start Cancel Switch" is there for starting in 1st or Reverse and allows you to ride out on the starter to get out of a tricky situation.

    yep

Just push the button so it lights up, put the truck in first gear, put the key in the ignition and turn it to on....if you HOLD it there, the truck will move forward

Yes you can roll start your truck. The clutch start cancel allows you to crank your starter with out pressing in the clutch.

    Yes

And no, the clutch cancel button no required to bump start. Only key in ON as per usual.

Try it all out, including clutch cancel in gear. It's fun

Funny you mention that, I forgot that in the winter when I’m done skiing I use the clutch-start-cancel with the truck in Neutral to start it up while I’ve still got my giant ski boots on

Its not designed for that but I have used it before to start from the passenger seat when the drivers door was frozen with ice.
