Neither get sliders. Much better for protection and sticks out further to use as a step

Thanks for the advice. I am looking for a more subtle look. Also I do very little/no off-roading.

I like chrome on black, unless you're going for the midnight "batman" look, in which case, black

Sliders are subtle and more functional. What happens in the future when you decide you want to hit a trail and you have nerf bars? You'll rip those things right off

Its all personal preference. Before i bought my truck, i wanted chrome on the bumpers, running boards, tail pipe, and grille. I even got the Limited Fog Bezels, but now, After being on this forum and seeing all the blacked out trucks, I like it better without the chrome all over. Some accents are fine, but I Am slowly removing all the chrome on the exterior (except the emblems) and i like it much better.

Thanks for the reply. I've gone through that same cycle but only mentally and in like a week. I like the chrome emblems but "everything else black" is a pretty cool setup. Also after looking at some pictures, all-black nerf steps / sliders look more subtle.

I vote black. It will cover up any dings or scratches that these bars are going to get. Also, I am installing sliders on my truck in 2-3 weeks so I'll be selling my Go Rhino Black Dominator D6 Running Boards for $200 if you like them. I got the running boards to allow my little kids to get in & out easily. They are 6" wide and provide good footing but still look sleek. Would keep them but need sliders so I can use my hi lift jack on the side of the truck.

If I didn't offroad and go with Black (bedlined) rocksliders I would have gone with black predator steps.
