I know GoRhino makes them, but only for the 01-04 Tacos. BlackHorse also makes them but only for 98-04. I have a 97! WTF!! Anyway, does anyone know of any other push bars like these? Or does anyone know if the GoRhino/BlackHorse push bars would fit with some cutting/welding/drilling? Here are some pics if anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Honestly, more for looks. :bananadead: But I would definitely use it if the time ever comes.

I wouldn't push a branch with one of those. They aren't made for pushing anything, it'll bend back and break your grill or mess up your front bumper; they are made 100% for looks. Just FYI for you OP

    Damn.

Well I guess I can believe that. I read somewhere that roll bar manufacturers now have to call them "bed bars" or something like that because supposedly they don't hold up for shit in a rollover. Still though... I kinda want one. :crapstorm:

    *a push bar, that is.

Police push bars are actually made for Police only. They are built much more sturdy and welded to the frame, not just 4 tiny bolts.

Had a go rhino on my 99 and have one on my 03. Are you sure they don't make one for the 95-97? I don't see any reason they wouldn't work for all first gens.

Not the ones i've seen. My neighbor is a cop and he said they are specially made tougher :notsure: There is no way a westin bull bar or a go rhino "push bar" will actually protect a car during a PIT maneuver or pushing anything.. My friend got backed into in a small parking lot (under 5mph) and his got bent back and damaged the bumper.

Cuz it was a Westin bar, apples to oranges. The tahoes around here use go rhino, I know because I was in the police academy. If it's good enough for them, its good enough for me.

True but they mount the same way, meaning they will bend back into the stock bumper.
