My vote would be N2Designs or Start-X.
N2Designs is a member in this forum and offers great support for questions during install.
Start-X is a cheaper kit that can be bought on Amazon. It's very similar using a re-badged Fortin module.
If you've installed remote starters this could save you a little cash, but if it's your first install you should probably consider N2.

With key ignition they're not completely plug & play.
You'll need to cut the TPMS wire on the truck and connect it to the remote start module.
It's really not that big of deal... Cut, strip, connect, done.
Other than the TPMS, there's just a couple of T-harnesses to connect.
Check out videos on youtube or amazon.

Imo there's no other option than N2 designs. Jimmy helped me out in a Saturday with his personal cell number. Thanks again @N2DesignsInc

Is this N2 the same as the original remote start that came with the truck or does it override it.

N2 is an aftermarket remote start that you have to install. I could be wrong but if you have a 2021 I've believe yours is through the head unit and will likely stop after your free trial is up unless you keep paying. N2 will always work, no subscription needed.

I believe you need to have a TRD Sport, OR or higher level for that.

I do have the TRD Sport Premium so I guess I will have to wait a year to find out if my remote will still work after the free trial of which of course never sign for the subscription trials.

I have a 12 volt solutions remote start on mine. It is a PTS model and uses the factory fob to start it.

I think for the most part, the taco remote starts are going to be the same. But if buy from N2DesignsInc you get top notch service!!

    You make the call.

Just installed this on my 21’ sport M.

Love how it works with stock key fob.

My truck was not equipped with tpms and I did not need to tap the wire. Full function on fob unlock and lock.

I literally installed this yesterday. I was a bit intimidated with taking off most of the dash.
I followed the attached video. going slow, it took me an hour. Super easy.

Got the basic model on sale at Tacoma Beast. only a day, but nice to have for precooling truck on these super hot days.
Bonus: At least for my 21 off road; the headlites do a cool dance when starting.
