I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma. I notice my truck having a hard time going into gear when driving, So I haven’t drove it in 2 days. I replaced the shifter lever bushing thinking that it would solve the problem, but it didn’t.

When my truck is turned off I can go into all gears with no problem, But when I turn my truck on it won’t go into gear. My fluid to my clutch slave is good, and I could see my clutch slave pushing in my transmission fork. What would be the issue ?

I had this and still does it, but it got a lot better when I did a transmission and transfer case flush. Also bled the clutch fluid and refilled. Personally it’s become a habit to just shift into second then first as for some reason it lines up the synchros and nicely clicks

Either the pressure plate is not releasing or the input shaft is stuck on the pilot bearing. Either way it isnt a driveway fix.

When I’m in gear with the clutch in, and I turn on my truck using the “clutch start cancel” I’m able to release my clutch and start to feel it grab. But once I pop it out of gear I can’t go back in.
