    Hi Tacoma Pros,

I am hoping to get some gift ideas for my boyfriend who is obsessed with his 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 Off Road (I think he has an extended bed??)

We set a price limit on our gifts of $150, is there anything I can get him for his truck??

More Info: He spends A LOT of time in his car traveling for work (several hours at a time), he off-roads when he can and has those orange plastic things on the top of his truck (that you use when you get stuck?). He also has a awning and a CVT tent. I know that he had a special bright light installed as well. He also had those medal bars installed on the sides (sliders?). He also spent way too much money on a phone holder in his car. He really likes to camp, fly fish and off-road. He is also kind of mas/sad because we do not have a garage so he has to park on the street.

    Thank you for your help!

He will be proud to know I even made this account!

    Cheers,
    Tacoma Lover's Girlfriend

Hey there! I think that’s cool what you’re doing. It’d help to know if he’s done any other modifications, how he uses his truck (does he off road? Long commute so a lot of seat time for long periods of time? You get the idea).

You sure he is not on this forum and reading a bunch of these threads.

We might ruin it by spilling the beans so to speak.

Anyway, sneak some pictures of his truck if you can.

    Welcome to TW btw

Toyota Tacoma key chain... That way, he can show it off without being anywhere near it. It's relatively cheap, and tasteful. You've seen people at bars with Ferrari, Mercedes key chains, and they work on people.

If he doesn't have them I would suggest a set of the laser cut floor liners either Husky liners or weathertech. It's kinda hard to make suggestions without any idea what he has already. A gift card to Headstrong Offroad or something would work also but not as exciting as a real gift

Start on etsy, lots of little toyota related stuff, some specific to tacomas.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/224223...ain&ref=sr_gallery-1-4&organic_search_click=1 (these are wood, they appear yellow in the photo but they're a natural wood. I have one.

Scoche magnet phone mount (this thing is awesome and cheap)
    https://www.target.com/p/scosche-ma...JaCSHmosPbU2tzeIS0EaAuukEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Off the top of my head otherwise, bed mat ($85ebay), interior LED lights he can switch in ($15ebay), truck washing kit?, screen protectors ($10ebay), satelite radio year subscription.

Bed mats are reasonably priced and useful,
@mesojdm has a product called the gashole which is on my wish list.

$150 is not easy but if he installs himself:
    Dash cam
    Raptors
    Front camera mod
Tools including a 10mm socket (joke)

Reinforcing the rear allows for more junk in the trunk.

Just throwing stuff at the wall here and seeing if it sticks, but maybe a portable air compressor for airing up the tires off road?

vinyls from @rrentrop can be cool, I put in the glovebox, floorboard sills and tailgate handle lets. adds a nice little pop to the truck.

also i second the portable compressor. my viair from Amazon was like 70 bucks and works great.
