Play DVD audio through Car Stereo

    I've tried the FM Transmitter solution but the sound quality is not acceptable. Is there an easy fix? I don't need charging ability for the DVD player, just audio input into the car stereo.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i would think that if u got an aux unit that hooks up to the back of the head unit and will take a standard headphone jack, just do that and hook up the dvd player through it using a headphone to headphone cord.
