Hi guys! I just had my stock HU replaced by this Pioneer deck and the gentleman who installed it custom set the EQ and I like the sound a lot but the highs are just a little to high for me and wondered which setting would I have to change exactly to bring those highs down a little? I'm scared I'm gonna mess it up! All those numbers to the left and bottom mean frequencies this I know, but playing with them all scares me! Lol. Thank you in advance! :)IMG_7204.jpg

Maybe start by pulling back 8k and 12.5k. Try 5k if it's still too bright. That's a lot of boosting though. Ideally you'd only cut with an EQ - not boost. If it were me, I'd maybe keep the curve I like, but cut everything down so nothing is above the 0 line.

^^^ This. I would also use Custom 2 to play around with these settings, that way you can keep Custom 1 consistent. Do note that if you do as suggested above, switching from 1 to 2 will probably not sound as good until you add volume to 2 due to using cuts instead of gains on the EQ.
