I'm going to be installing a 100 ah lithium battery, a 700 W inverter and a solar controller in the back of my 2017 DCLB. I'm also going to put a half sleeping platform in it.

Anyone have pictures of a similar setup (even without a platform)?

    Thanks!

I've already got all the components for my planned setup. More bang for your buck if you build it!

I spent a lot of time looking at portable solar generators. Definitely a good option for quick and clean!

Here's my setup. 100Ah Renogy battery, Renogy DC-DC charger with MPPT controller (charges from both alternator and solar), and 1200W inverter. 2 x 100W Renogy solar panels up top. I'd go with 1200 or 1500W inverter. Soon as you buy 700W you'll want to plug something in that uses more : ).

The fridge is flush with the cabinet top making for a stealth sleeping platform in case I'm somewhere I can't pop up the camper top. If it were my primary sleeping platform the fridge would go elsewhere and I'd make the sleeping surface low enough I could comfortably sit up and hang out without hitting my head.

What type of fridge is that and model? I like how low and flush it sits. Mine sticks up pretty high over the shelf which is
even with the back window and sides like yours.

I have a 200w panel & a 100aH Li-Fe w/ self heating function. Panel is a little overkill but in northern NE w/ low light angle & inconsistent weather I wanted the confidence that I'd be able to offset use.

(Ignore the actuator covers--dealer's choice and I'm replacing w/ custom ones)

Initial electrical set up before connecting everything.

Mounted the panel so I can angle for better efficiency.

It's a Dometic CFX 45. I have it mounted direct to the shelf rather than use sliders, which allows it to sit a bit lower. Those fridges have bolt holes underneath so you can direct mount them to a shelf like I did using M5 (I think) bolts.
