I have to admit, if I seen a strange guy taking pictures of my truck outside my house.
I’d probably say to myself, “WTF is that guy doing”. I’d probably open my door and stare at you too.
But I would NOT go to your house (Amanda’s place) and confront you. Because I know there is really nothing wrong with what you’re doing. And I also wouldn’t care enough to make a scene about it. Seriously, I’ve been told by many, I need to be more “vigilant”. But it’s just not my nature. If you aren’t bothering me directly, I don’t really care what you do.

I don’t know if many of you know, but I’m currently staying at one of the houses (they have 3) at my grandparents. They are in their mid/late 80’s. They need “help” and I’m the only one close enough to “help”.

Just yesterday, someone pulled in to one of the driveways and sat there. They sat there at least 30 mins.
Don’t know who they were, or what they were doing. But they weren’t bothering me. I actually forgot about them being out there until “just now”. :rofl:I never went back out and looked to see “when” they left.

Like I said, “I don’t care”. Just leave me alone. :p

Actually, it wasn't even his truck; it was a Bronco parked on a public street...

Well, then he cares too much.
    I don’t.

If I liked cars as much as you, I’d keep taking pictures.

That's what I've been doing for years; after an incident in 2016 where a guy actually demanded that I show him my camera when he caught me taking pics of his minty fresh GMC Sonoma in the bank parking lot, I realized that my Nikon SLR attracted too much attention outside of car shows and touristy places. I tend to use my phone 99% of the time when I'm out and about, which is what I was using when I took pics of the Bronco...

I am not good at taking pictures.
I usually have to take 20 before I get one that looks decent.

There was this one time years ago (2017-2018?) where I saw a lifted Subaru Crosstrek with off-road tires parked at Peddler's Village; I forget whether I was using my phone or my real camera, but I took pics of this obviously unique Subaru without a second thought. I then pulled out of the parking lot, and not even a minute later, this dunce was walking out into the road waving his hands and telling me to stop. I was under 30 at the time, and this guy was probably in his early 20s at the oldest. Utterly confused, I stopped purely out of reflex and he asked in a rather hostile tone why I was taking pictures of his car. I said "Ypu mean the lifted Subaru? I think it's cool." That changed his attitude immediately and he was fine with it. I have no idea where that guy came from, and that is why I now keep my eyes peeled when taking pictures of vehicles in certain areas and situations; I have not had a major incident in probably 7 years!

Niiiiiice, my parents briefly had a 77 to 79 'Bird when I was a kid. Dark green and white interior. Always loved the headlight covers too..sadly they ended up selling it as it was too big for my mom to get used to driving.

I wish l could have taken a picture of a SUV the other day but was driving, it had a big red nose on the grille and antlers on both sides of the roof.

I cook almost every day but rarely ever need water at the stove so that would be a no-go for me too.

Are all the homes the same?

There's teo ranchers and I believe three 2-story plans. One plan is a 3-bedroom and the rest are 4-bedroom. They range in size from just over 1,800 square feet to like 3,600 square feet.

    55+ and 4 bedrooms?
Not sure why you’d need 4 bedrooms?
But some people like lots of “space”.

My dad is 63 and my mom is 65; we don't live in an age-restricted community, but our house has four bedrooms and is about 3,000 square feet. We upsized from a 3-bedroom townhomes. I'm guessing that the extra bedrooms are for when the grandkids come to visit...?

    I didn’t think of that.
When they 55+, does that mean everyone living at the home has to be 55+?
    Or just the owners?

    Are there any exceptions?
For let’s say, people with handicap children?

Typically one resident needs to be 55+, but beyond that those under 55 are allowed to reside in the home

    Varies from HOA to HOA
