Who's down to do a camp/meet at peacock flats? I am trying for December 14th. Unfortunately we can only reserve a spot one month in advance. So on November 14th we would have to book the spots at peacock flats. Site B has 3 campsites and each can have 7 people on each permit. We can always add more people to the permit later, but we just need to reserve the spots. I like site B because it has a nicer outhouse and is more secluded.

Wife and daughter had blast last time, but would be more fun with more friends :)
Plus, I think its the only place you can legally camp with dogs...

If a stock CR-V can make it to the campsite, I'm sure a prerunner can make it.
If not, I'll tow you out :D

Lol. Been pulled out before...not ashamed to be pulled or towed out again. But prefer not to go that route.

That's good. We like pulling TW members out of situations :D. It lets us use the equipment we spent money on.

Yea.. gotta learn, plus have some confidence. Miles can probably attest.. I was doubtful I could make it up that hill (before the group pic at kaena). But I made it...

You are supposed to have a 4wd up there in case it rains hard, but they never check. A couple of my friends were up there yesterday in the rain and some of them had a hard time with built toyota's and jeeps on the main road. The mud up there turns most mud tires into slicks if it's wet enough.

Anyway, my fiance has been wanting to go camping so we are in. :D
