So, my rear passenger door jams at random times. I have taken it into the dealer a couple of times when it was jammed only to open without a problem when I get there, of course. The door is unlocked and the handle will pull, but the door doesn't budge. I am going to run to the dealer again today and hopefully it will still be jammed.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Assuming it hasn't been in any accidents, since it's a '15. I would guess the latch isn't always fully releasing.

That is my guess. Any ideas on how I could get into the door and correct this since it is jammed? I know as soon as I go to the dealer, it will open. So, I might as well try and fix this myself.

I would guess that there must be an adjustment on the latch, but don't know for sure. Maybe try moving the door while attempting to open it. Pull up, down, side to side. I'm guessing that it's slightly off, if it opened after you drove to the dealer. It sounds like maybe the light flexing of the body as it drives over uneven surfaces found on any given road is what let it loose the last time(s).

Try pushing IN on the door as you pull the latch/handle. If it releases, there is an adjustment to fix it.

    Access Cab or what?

If it is an access cab does the handle just feel like it is disconnected?

See this post, the lever may be stuck in.

I was on one of my jobsites yesterday and had a coworker try to open the door and it wouldn't open. Just to make sure I am not crazy. I immediately drove to the dealership and low and behold, it opened with one finger. Needless to say, I lost it. The service manager came over and had them schedule an appointment to take the door apart and adjust everything. Then, after work, I go and pick up my son and it won't open. Pain in the ass.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I pushed in on the door as you suggested and it opened. Do you know what needs to be adjusted?

Quick update. The door latch is bad and has to be replaced.

I am having a similar issue. It is like the cables pulled out of my rear pssenger door.

The handle pulls out but doesnt has tension or resistence. It is locked and wont open from the inside or outside

I've watched that video dozens of times. I still have no idea how to get an inner door panel off. I may have to watch it again.

There was a show once that they always jumped through the windows to get in and out. The guys names were Luke Duke and Bo Duke. They had a cousin named Daisy Duke... their vehicle was orange red with a 01 on the side of it and it used to jump tons of Hazards running away from the sheriff.

I think the show was called, “The car that couldn’t open it’s doors”

SOLVED - I bought a $15 air shim and placed it on the inside of the truck where the locking mechanism. Pumped it up as much as possible then used plastic door trim tools to pry. While prying I yanked on the exterior handle and BOOM! It opened right up.

Few thoughts for my specific situation..
    1. The primary issue was the connection with the exterior handle
    2. The child lock was on so that is why i could not open from the inside
    3. I tried to push the unlock lever with the window down but it was to no avail
    3. It is miller time and it is only 12:45
