has anyone had a problem where their passenger side airbag light is stuck in the off position?
I've tested it out by sitting on the seat and buckling in the seat belt. But it stays "off". I weight about 170 so it should work for me;)

Btw, I have the '09 dbcb so there isn't an on/off switch for it.
    Any thoughts?

@Skrain thank you for the thought. Page 103 sit buckled in the seat and slide the seat all the way towards the rear of the cab.

I did this a couple times and the "on" light came on! :D

Sounds like the sensor that determines when someone is in the seat might have a loose electrical connection under the seat somewhere, and moving it around got it to make contact. Glad you got it sorted out! :)

I had the same problem. I checked the plugs under the seat and everything was fine. Finally took it in and they said a something was unplugged behind the glove box.

Not sure if you have one, but a seatbelt clip extender on the passenger side will also make the light stay on.

TBH, I'm not sure if it really was a clip behind the dash or if they were just bullshitting me. I pulled my passenger side seatbelt extender off as I pulled into the dealership. When I put it back in the next day, I noticed the light came back on.

So, they were either lying to me, or it was both the clip behind the glove box and my seatbelt extender. I've never heard about an airbag clip behind the glove box and they never showed it to me, so I'm not sure.

Older post I know, but I had a seat belt extender plugged in all the time bc my dog sits up front sometimes. Air bag off was always illuminated. I unplugged the extender and the air bag off light turned off.
