    Hi all,
My passenger airbag light says it is off in the center console, as well as has the flashing seat belt light. The light stays on the driver's side cluster panel as well. Reading the manual it said there is a malfunction in the system. I unplugged the yellow connector under the seat, nothing. I took the seat off, unplugged all the connectors, checked them and looked good. Put it back on. Tried sliding the seat back and fully forward multiple times and still nothing to get the light to go away. Not sure where to go next, and like in my previous leak issue I am 3 hours away from the nearest Toyota dealership so anything helps. No codes at all when I hooked up my OBD reader.

Update: did some shot gun troubleshooting. Turned RSCA off to see if that would reset it for me since I do not have the key to reset the airbags next to the passenger air vent and still nothing.

    What year is your truck?
Does it have the On/Off switch that you operate by using the Key?
I can’t remember, but I think the light only flashes if someone is in the seat and seat belt is not buckled?

It sounds like the occupant classification sensor may be bad?

It does not have the ON/OFF switch, the manual said that it was located under the passenger inboard air vent, took the panel off and there wasn't anything there. It is a 2011 off-road.

That switch is only for the regular and Extended cab. With a double cab, you're supposed to put smaller passengers and kid seats in the back seats.

If that is the case, then maybe the water that is leaking in could be causing your problem?
Maybe it’s leaking onto the switch?

If you have nothing sitting in the seat then it could be a problem with the passenger occupant detection weight sensors in the seat, occupant detection module itself, wiring, or the airbag module. Since you had a water leak I'd look really closely at connectors and modules for water intrusion and corrosion (disconnect battery when unplugging or unbolting connectors and modules), if you can't find anything your gonna need someone with a scanner capable of airbag system diagnostics to proceed.
