I can't decide what to do with my emblems on my black 2013. I have black wheels, my favorite color is blue. But I think red (not cherry!) grill emblem would look great with the same color on my break calipers. Any opinions or advice would be awesome, and pictures of examples are reallllllly appreciated! I've really thought about flat black as well, but I kind of want some color, tastefully done, not overdone.

You could also Plasti Dip then as well. It's not permanent so if you want to take it off or change the colour you can.

Plasti dip, paint, idc. I'm more worried about my decision of color right now.

I decided to black my emblems out because I love the murdered look. I have black rims as well. It really all depends on what you like! I used krylon fusion spray paint for plastic and the process took about a day or 2 to allow for coating and drying. I debadge the tail gate and relocated my emblems. Just a thought. Also I'd suggest blacking out your headlights if you haven't already. It took me about a day. Hope this helps!!

Well some people do care. Not everyone knows about Plasti Dip. I figured that it would give you another option rather than paint if you wished.

Awesome, well thankyou for the options of dip or paint. I'm really new and learning all sorts of things. I'm really leaning towards a darkish red, what you all think of break calipers?

Oh and I definitely want to smoke out my headlights, and tail lights, but need to learn how, or get someone to do that for me. Any brands of headlights you suggest?

I have a blue '13 with black rims, I color matched the front emblem with some spray paint from AutoZone and clear coated it. Personally I think color matching adds a nice clean look to the truck, especially blacked out ones.

I did mine myself using this thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/65226-how-black-head-light-mod.html

Pretty easy and only took me about a day. I had never done it before but the write up is great. Only cost about $30 to do it yourself.

Hi, after thinking so much about it, I'm really leaning towards a dark plum crazy purple for my emblems, atleast the front. Ive never seen it, but for a girls truck, i think it would be perfect, and unique. black and purple go well together, i think. i will also be putting a shiny, clear metallic over it. Now, to find the time, and top of the line product to do this. I'm super excited!

I'm not going to paint my emblems. After too much thinking over it, I found a grille that I want, and I won't have an emblem on it, so I will just be rebadging the rest of the truck.

If I leave one or two, I have thought black with a darkish purple flake.
