I had mine installed over a year ago and have put over 23k miles on them (265/75/16). I have them rotated and balanced every 4-6k miles. They are wearing evenly and I've had zero issues with them (no wobble, shimmy or anything like that). They still have plenty of tread left and look to easily meet the 50k mile guarantee. They're quiet (to me) and have had excellent performance to date. When these are done, I will certainly get another set of Wildpeaks.

    Cheers

am I the only one having a terrible experience with these tires? Tire shake from every tire.. Ive moved em all around trying to track it down. Steering shakes no matter what. terrible WAA WAA WAA WAA WAA WAA driving down the road. Whole truck shakes at anything over 70. Had em road force balanced 3 times. One tire had to be replaced because it was ridiculously out of round.. Thought that would fix the shimmy. it didn't. Pretty sure they are ALL out of round. even the new one. so far I absolute HATE these tires.. and its just another thing making me hate driving this truck. Goin back to the shop again this week if I can.

I have 1 tire that takes more weight and still has a little vibe, buts it's not that bad for an aggressive tire. They have some noise to them, but again, not that bad for an aggressive tire. They handle well, have really good wet traction, do well in the snow. And deal with the mountains pretty good. So far I like them. I had duratracs before these, they were by far some of the worst tires ive ever owned.

Is anyone running the stock size with these tires (p-rated 265/70r 16) and have pictures?

    Stock for now
I couldn't find the stock size in E rated, which is a bummer since that would've allowed me to purchase only 4 tires.

Sorry for posting in this forum but I found it extremely helpful reading about Falken AT3W's. Where else there would be 100+ pages dedicated to a tire?

Anybody have the Wildpeaks mounted on Lexus GX 460 ? 265/60/18
I am considering them for my 2016 Lexus GX 460. I go off-road about many times a year each time driving heavily loaded about 100 miles on rough gravel with laser sharp rocks.
Puncture protection including sidewalls is my main concern. I do not care much about mud and ice but it rains in So Cal once in a while.

Also, what's the deal with XL? I read somewhere that it stands for Extra Load. Is it going to be even stiffer than the Wildpeak "regular"?
Here's the url for the tirebuyer that sells Extra Load in my size.

    Appreciate your replies in advance

Got 235/80/17's and they are great so far. Super quite and great on the mild off road stuff I have done so far (wet gravel and wet clay). I am not having any balancing issues

Im considering moving to these from my current BFG A/T Ko2's, Both tires will be/ are in size LT285/70/17. From what I've read in specs, the Falkens are a .3" larger in diameter, and .1" wider in carcass, both negligible to me. They are also 2 lbs heavier and have 3/32" more tread depth, with a speed rating of 112mph vs th4e BFG's 106.
Is the Falken a better tire?
I drive mostly on road, but when I am off-road, I want the best traction (out of an a/t tire like this, no M/T). I offroad in SoCal so its mosty harder pack desert, gravel, and some sandish washes on occasion. Also I'm doing more high speed stuff open area stuff, as im a prerunner no going to be crawling. Gotta push through with momentum and the skinny pedal lighting the rear tires up!:D

Would like to get some imput from people with these tires and how they may compare to the BFG A/T Ko2

I hate everything about the BFG KBro's, so take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt.

All around traction, handling, looks, and noise the Falken is a far superior tire. Especially when it comes to off-road traction. The only thing that I can't comment on yet definitively is longevity in the E load variant. Current set on my work truck are in the 10k mile range and are holding up well.

Thanks for your input, I decided on the Ko2s again as I was only going to replace my two rear tires at the moment if I went that route, so it was just cheaper. And so far I've been happy with them over the past couple years.
