Just finished installing a Pace Edwards Jackrabbit Tonneau cover on my 2011 4x4 double cab Tacoma (5ft bed) that I ordered from Auto Accessories Garage which, by the way, I would NOT recommend the Jackrabbit model to my fellow Tacoma drivers. It was absolute hell to install with too many question marks. Anyway, I’ve already ran into a problem. There is a pretty significant gap between the cover and the tailgate cap. Has anyone else ever ran into this problem with a bed cover, specifically a retractable tonneau cover? If so, what have been your solutions to fix this problem, aside from the duct-tape-a-hunk-of-rubber-to-the-top-of-my-tailgate solution… which I have contemplated! Anything helps.

    Thank you!!

is the gap front-back? if so then you need to loosen up your clamps and move the canister more to the rear. I had a Pace Edwards Full-Metal Jacket that i took on and off a couple of times... I got a shell last month, so i can't take any pics for you
