I just got this check engine light code today.

P2240 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for "O2 Sensor Positive Current Control Circuit/Open Bank 2 Sensor 1".

Is the culprit a bad o2 sensor? Anyone have this issue and resolve it?

That or a broken wire between the sensor and PCM.

Think its a bad sensor.. Because I reset the codes and its working atm. Im just gonna replace the old sensor.
bank2 sensor1 is the o2 sensor on the driver side, in the front?

Yes driver's side upstream AFR sensor, make sure you go with the correct Denso part number and beware of knockoffs on Amazon and Ebay.
