Ok, so my 2013 V6 DCLB CEL light is on and OBDII scan is throwing P2240/P2241 error codes.

This is identified as a faulty O2 Sensor Open Circuit.

Is there something to check before I just go ahead and replace the sensor? Like a fuse or something?

    Help and ideas appreciated.

    I had a P0136 - bad circuit/malfunction of the rear o2 sensor on my 04.

I replaced the sensor and the problem went away. Old sensor looked like it was covered in soot when I pulled it out. Pretty easy repair

So yours was after (output side) the catalytic convertor?

I think mine is for the sensor on the input side of the catalytic.

Was yours easy to get to?

Yeah mine was after the cat, I have an 04 (1st gen) but it wss easy to get to...most difficult part was accessing the wiring under the passenger seat to undo the plug. Whole thing only took maybe 30 min

Make sure you replace the sensor with a genuine Denso sensor...Toyotas don't like anything other than Denso, and make sure it's a legit one...lots of fakes on fleabay and Amazon. I just got mine at Pep Boys, bring them the part number though so they don't screw it up

    Thanks for the tip.

I was wondering if there was at least some sort of power relay or fuse to check before spending the $ on the sensor?
