I am building a 1998 Toyota Tacoma, and today was supposed to be first start up, but these two codes ruined that. I have no spark when cranking the engine over. It’s a 3RZ 2.7L. I’ve rebuilt the engine with all stock components so nothing crazy with the engine. Stock ECU, I also just replaced a coil pack with a new duralast one. The other coil pack is OEM because autozone only had one today.

So just what are you trying to ask??

Those are both Igniter circuit issues would be the reason you have no spark

Either of those codes will shut off the fuel as well.

Poor connections bent pins not playing well with the ECM

Engine Harness and the Sensors and the ECM all from the same vehicle ??

Yes everything is stock on this truck. I just rebuilt the engine. I was getting fuel just no spark. I’m just trying to figure out if it’s a wiring issue or a ecm issue.

Just how are you seeing the injectors fire using Noid lights and seeing the pulse??

Did your ECM get soaked with water or get a huge voltage spike about the only thing that will cause a ECM that was working to fail..

where things sitting apart for a long period of time unseen corrosion is always a problem.

poor ground connections can cause weird problems at times.

There was pressure at the regulator and the spark plugs smelled like gas when I pulled them. ECM never got wet, but the truck was sitting for probably 6 or 7 years before I got it. The truck was complete when it was sitting.
