So I did some research on what rational means, run time parameters not meeting the computers stored ideal parameters.

I'm just wondering if anyone can explain the terminology of the code? (Low) is this referring to the low pressure system? Or just a low fuel pressure reading? Sure would be nice to have a laptop with tech stream on it, but I guess I could test my fuel pressure as some of these other forums have explained it for now as part of the trouble shooting.

You can get fusion obd2(free) with Toyota PIDs purchase inside the app and BT veepeak adapter from Amazon or similar based on your phone OS.
You can display all parameters and don't need techstream for that. To do some functions testing, try to get techstream.
This one is for low pressure system and the way I understood, the target pressure is not achieved/doesn't match.

My fuel distance to empty has also failed to update twice now. The needle failed to go up the first time, but it went up this second time.

This the correct app? I reviewed the service manual, I guess I'm just bouncing ideas off you guys. There is around 16 steps for diagnosing the p107b, with a lot of replaced parts.

Yes, this the app. Download it, install , go inside and buy Toyota/Lexus Pids for you year(was $16 )
Correct, SM has a few steps to verify each component

Ok I got everything set up and it looks like I'm about 9.8 psi low on the fuel rail pressure b, low pressure side.

Seems like it. Set dashboard with toyota pids, set the logging and see if you can nail the cause(pump or sensor)

These are techstream pids for fuel.

Ok, also after connecting the veepeak and accessing fusion, will it clear the codes? After restarting my truck the CEL was off.

Is there a quick way to populate the dashboard with Toyota pids? What do you mean by set the log in?

Yes, it is pretty fast, maybe 10-15 min.
Logging is available under settings. Need to select pids to log. The data will be written once fusion is connected

No. Most like the cel was turned off after a certain number of driving cycles

Is it ok to leave everything connected while I drive to work? Or can it run in the background? I did a little searching for a good tutorial but haven't found one yet

You can leave the adapter plugged in. It won't suck you battery dry. You can select to start logging automatically. Add pid for cel (status of mil) so the event is flagged in the file. The file is saved in the phone file directory (see the image with the path at the top). You still can use the phone for calls, navigation, etc.
There is Fusion thread here, you may check it out. Also, adjust units of measure to match services manual.

Thanks vlady I'll do all that, I'm sure you get lots of people asking questions about FAQ things or things we could search for to find forums for that issue, thanks for being patient and giving me some info! :yay:

This is for the reference. I pulled from my old logs and selected the same engine load.
The commanded looks good, by the sensor reading is too low for the load.
I had a cross-reference for generic obd2 pids to Toyota somewhere on tw. But do setup the logging for these 4 pids, plus add MIL, trottle position. Try to rule out the sensor.

To me it looks like a normal pressure reading? It's not showing 49 psi like the freeze frame. Busy with work lately haven't had time to do anything else really. Also the CEL is still gone, I never reset it.

Freeze frame(FF) is set when CEL is triggered.
Try to trigger CEL by setting up conditions found in FF.
Looks like you were pressing the pedal around 60%of engine load.
So add those PIDs to the dash board.
ECU will clear CEL on its own. There is an algorithm described in service manual

I have been having issues with the code p107b for some time. I also am currently fixing the p107a2a code. I had a full diagnostics done at Toyota and they said I needed to change the low pressure fuel pump. After I changed that my fuel rail pressure sensor also got knocked out because of the bad low pressure fuel pump. The P107a2a is now showing and they are replacing the whole fuel rail pressure line and sensor as the sensor was knocked out and is showing extremely low pressures now that I have a properly working low pressure fuel pump.
