I just installed my anytime front and rear backup camera. I wired it everything worked as intended. I gave the front camera power through the EFI fuse. I When for a quick rip around the block to see the front camera in action and.. check engine came on. I plugged in my obd2 and got code P0500 vehicle speed sensor A. Everything on the cluster works.. so I dont know if was a coincidence that the code popped up after I did my camera install or did something else shit the bed? Can anyone help me?

I ended up fixing the problem my wiring is incorrect. One of the wires were for the speed sensor. It tricks the nav so I can use it all the time.

Correction.. I didnt figure out the problem, I narrowed it down though. I ended up wiring the nav override harness which comprises of two wires red and black sticking out of the 28 pin connector. I believe it's the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) . I lost my instructions so I thought red is power.. and black is ground.. I ended up figuring out after that the wires are suppose to go to a SPST switch. So now I get that p0500 code vehicle speed sensor A. The car drives fine all the gauges work nothing wrong with the drivability of the truck. The navi froze and stopped moving for awhile. After about an hour later the navi started to figure out my coordinate and worked except it now has a delay and seems laggy. Please help! Does the VSS from the navi run to a fuse ? Or does it directly get wired to the ECM?

If i remember when i did my nav over ride button you interrupt the feed from the VSS wire and yes my screen stops moving when active.
i don't think you want to cut power to that for a long times, as i think other things use it. to run my backup over ride you feed power to the rev tigger wire to activate the screen (with a diode) so the lights don't turn on , the other camera should be on a relay to separate it from the other cam (this i assume you know) there is a few different ways i have seen it done so your on your own for that.
i tapped power off the 12v power dash plug for all my mods, maybe this will help ? good luck
