The purge VSV may be bad leaking by during the test allowing vacuum to decay via the intake manifold. What pressure are you recording? It is the same on both pre and post vacuum test?

P0441 is kind of vague in it's description as there's 3 different test's that can fail and set that code, if the Purge VSV appears to be functioning and not leaking you would likely have to watch the data while it performs an EVAP test on a scan tool to see what's going on.

Sorry, just saw this. I'm a newb when it comes to vacuum testing. I'll do some YT/Google searches and report back! Thanks

Jim locate the purge valve on the drivers side of the manifold. One hose goes the canister back by the fuel tank, the other hose goes to the intake manifold near the throttle body. Take the hose off the canister side and attach a vacuum gauge. Disconnect the purge valve electrical connector (so it won't do a cold-start purge) and start the engine. Let it run and watch the vacuum gauge. There should be no vacuum at all making through the purge valve (normally closed) and showing up on the vacuum gauge. Like zero .. any movement of the needle registering even a slight amount of vacuum is a bad/leaking purge valve.

Thanks @b_r_o . I’ve already replaced what i thought is the purge valve p/n 25860-0P010. Maybe I’m mistaken :notsure:

Thanks for the step by step though- I should probably test it out in any case.

    This is the purge valve

That part number you posted looked like a generic vacuum switching valve for a handful of different uses. The purge valve is specific for fuel vapors

Can’t thank you enough for that pic :hattip:

Pulled the valve the day after you posted it. Confirmed the P/N (90910-TC001) Ordered and replaced it within a week. The CEL has been off and code free since
