Just curious if any Tacoma 3rd Generation owners have used Oxilam LED bulbs H9 and H11 to replace the Philip stock Halogen bulbs that come from Toyota.

These according to Amazon site are:

350% Brighter 6000k Cool White LED Fanless High Low Beam Conversion Kit, CSP Chips, IP67 Waterproof, Pack of 2.

I have replaced the high beam with HELLA H9 2.0TB High Performance Bulb but have read that they don't last. I can return these to Amazon but have until January 31, 2022.

    Thanks.

I got a free set of these and might throw them in to see what happens. Did you end up using them?

You should read through the massive 3rd gen headlight thread. In short, the stock halogen headlights are designed to use halogen bulbs, not LED's, and as such the LED's will perform worse.

Not the exact brand but my leds are far superior to stock. Brighter, cleaner color with zero issues.

addint to this, the best upgrade would be a HID replacement or one of the LED that mimics the halogen glow pattern which are mostly expensive AF.

i got a cheap $30 set of HID kit and they look great.
