Anyone have any intel on this? Seen that it was released at SEMA and have seen it on display on their instagram with a couple rigs having it installed.

 

Just from the first glance it looks identical the RSI’s smart cap. I haven’t heard of it before.

I like that price range. From the looks of the site they don't have a LB option. That's a bummer.

Looks like others. Good price. Would be curious about longevity, specifically with corrosion. Video says stainless steel everything.

 

Contacted them and its indeed china made. Looks like the crap coming from alibaba, aliexpress, and the overpriced same junk from bynb4x4

 

so long as the construction is decent, you could get the whole thing powder coated and still come out thousands ahead vs smart cap

 

If I got that cap, instead of a cheap used fiberglass with vented windows

then slept in the back. I'd probably end up dead, not ahead.

I think it looks better than bynd.. Less rounded and more angluar.

But honestly it’s the price that’s attractive. Almost half off a smartcap, GFC, RLD

 

Was about to say this. Kinda surprising they'd go that route because their other stuff is good quality.

 

I just put an order in for one from Alibaba (basically the same one the BYND fraud was scamming as US made). Cut out the middle man. A couple other guys on here have one and they actually look great in pictures and the video walk around I saw. $1380 shipped

 

this could be a good alternative to a shell especially if has windows
Eliminates dealing with:
-crackpipe pricing
-shell not having roof tracks or being bare fiberglass etc
-2hr+ drive

Regarding the other posts about windows, etc. The main purpose of OVS to make these caps is to help sell their RTT's and sleep up on top, not inside them. They have a different setup coming which is a canopy/topper deal with a RTT built into the roof, like an Alucab.
