Overland builds

Hi all. Noob here.

I dig all the Overland rigs that I have seen on Pintrest similar to the one pictured below.

I love the height and want a lift and look similar.

Anyone have any ideas what is running or good links.

Came from a Jeep communinty run by the same that run this site, jeeps.net. Have owned several tacomas, offroad to go camping, thus the overland, Mountain bike and snowboard so I need a Bug Out Vehicle that is next to, indestructable... LOL

 

Here's mine.

6" fabtech DB lift (let the haters hate)
Tc heimed uca's
Rcd 5100's with custom Alcan leafs.
Arb awning with room for the kids
Cvt mt Shasta for me and the wife

Works well for me and the family and we are out almost every weekend camping in this rig.

Literally one of the first trucks I liked when I got my tacoma and said I’ll model mine just like that. However I’ve grown much fonder of @Chux and a few others such as @inv3ctiv3

 

The first post pic is not so much Overland as it appears.. It’s just a reggo taco with 6” lift, front bumper, and roof rack (empty). I’m not trying to do the “how overland are you” but to me Overlanding is to vehicle based traveling/camping.. and he hanging out with a couple mods in the parking lot. Tho that truck pic is a good platform to outfit and explore, check out these pages for lots of cool builds and some good info and pics...

Man... this thread makes me want to lift mine... I wasn't planning to due to all the costs associated, but definitely reconsidering.
