Dash doesn’t vibrate or squeak. Over 100k though, a sound like a clown car horn comes from somewhere in around steering column. Is NOT the dash board.

Previous owner had steering column apart, mentioned something vague about tye rods? (Something?) cable not being done while it was apart due to ‘ ran out of time’

Odometer cable? Counter something? It happens at highway speed only & not on logging roads (lower speed, not a vibration thing)
    Any suggestions?
