What's the garage door opener plug into?

You can also use one of these if there's a light socket:

Look into antigravity or deltran batteries the restart system is a life saver on them. I've ran both for years on my R1s and currently in my Fz1. The battery has a low voltage cutoff so it will never fully drain.

Sorry, I generalized. Yes, the garage door is powered. As Dilbert suggested, I have a light socket adapter, which is what I've plugged my fluorescent light into. I'm leary about running too much shit off of it, as I'm not sure what the breaker rating is for the garage door opener light bulb. If it throws a breaker somewhere, I have no idea where that is...

Should be 15 amps minimum. Plenty of room for activities.

    Edit:
Then again, that 15 amps may be shared with other units since you don't have the breaker in yours.

Sharing a single circuit across multiple units would be super sketchy. One breaker panel maybe, but a circuit, oof.

I believe you just walked up the 3 flights to my unit... but yes, the thought has crossed my mind.

Bert, here was my solution as I have the same issue as you for outlets. It screws into the receptacle as well on The ceiling.

And this is what I am currently riding as the weather gets nicer.

Yep. I had a client slip on one getting out of my truck. I even have the grip tape on it. Its not worth the risk with as many clients I have ride with me. I work in land development and they normally have to ride with me. Im going to some steps
