Where is it on your paint? If it's along the bottom, it's supposed to be there.

Not my '18. I wonder if it was damaged on route to the dealer and it was fixed and resprayed.
Edit: Ahh yes, the rockers are textured.

Right, the lower part of the doors have an anti chip coating.

Orange peel is on most makes and models. I honestly wouldn’t even sweat it. As other have said it suppose to be at the lower part of our panels.

Only way to fix it is wet sand your whole truck and polish it all out. I’m pretty OCDon my paint but I just live with the small imperfection of orange peel everywhere.

Interesting. I just noticed the same thing on silver '19 TRD Sport. It's about 8" high and runs the length of the truck on both sides.

Yep, I bought an S10 ZR2 new in 99. I couldn’t find mudflats that wouldn’t cause the tires to rub. The dealer volunteered to perform this add on to help with chips for free to shut me up. Those KO2s threw rocks like crazy along the lower area of the truck.

Dont talk to us about it, talk to your dealer about it. See if other trucks on the lot have the same "blemish".

We cant determine it unless you show a pic of the affected areas.

If the textured coating is all the way up to the windows you do indeed have an issue, any pics?

You got rock chip protection all the way up to the windows? Probably a dealer add-on that you paid $799 for. :anonymous:
