Opinions on "Billboard" bedside graphics

I've had my 16' TRDOR access cab since new and now I've been looking at graphics to break up
the sea of orange.
I've seen several versions of these billboards.

Or I could just get all black versions of the factory graphics.

Or you could do a custom one that has meaning to you and differentiate yourself from the other 25 gazillion Tacomas out there

 

Or you could not do anything and keep it stock. Let’s be honest here. This ranks up there with a smoking hot girl getting a sleeve tattoo.

 

If you like it - do it.... its your rig. Worst case - you park it at your local WallyWorld and as you walk away you turn back to admire it and think, "meh". Just peel it off. If that happens, sure you're out a few pesos, but let's be honest... we've all wasted a lot more on a lot less. Just my take, YMMV

 

I like some of them, but not for me. But they are not to expensive and removable. People on here waste more money on

other stuff. I kinda went the opposite way.

I didn't put the Pro decals on my Tacoma, but they came standard on my Pro trailer.








It certainly gets some looks and comments. There was a workman here yesterday who saw it and sent a picture to his friend who has a Tacoma - thought Toyota was making trailers, too.

 

I took the ice cream truck stickers off of my truck as soon as I got it.

 

I think they're cool on other Tacomas but it's not my "cup of tea".

It distinguishes the two models otherwise I look for the hood "Skewp" and can also tell by the OEM wheels.

 

That... is... AWESOME!

 

I like mine, have had them for a few years now.

Boring. And while we're on it, you should remove your steps, blind spot mirrors, and anything else that didn't come from the factory, because...keep it stock

Can't get on board with your analogy here. A Ferrari or Lambo and putting a decal on it, for sure. But a Tacoma? Sorry as much as I love my truck, its not in the smoking hot girl category. More like girl next door accessorizing.

Why did Toyota think that silver goes good with orange?

 

I don't think it'd look terrible on your truck, but I'd personally go the custom or all black stock route.
