I'm getting an '07 4runner for a steal from a family member... Unicorn 1st owner, unmodified, low miles, senior owner, blah blah. You get it.. Anyway, in anyone's opinion, what is the best 4runner forum, that would have the same knowledge base etc of the equivalent of TW? Yes, I've searched and looked around a little. Just looking for some opinions so I don't waste too much time looking. Thanks

4Runners.com which is a TW sister site has good forum traffic for 5th gens.

t4r.org has the most info overall and maintains decent traffic. In my opinion the forum interface being used there is a pos.

    Neither compare to TW imo.

4runners is chill. This place for when you're going down deep dark hole. t4r-o more or less unusable.

I forgot about this forum of tacomaworld so maybe I should have been posting here all along. Actually, many threads here have few replies. So this (this specific section of tw) is kinda an oddball catch all spot.

I joined 4runners.com when I switched rides, and ask my questions over there. I also watched this entire 4Runners forum so I get a notification when somebody posts a new topic and I can either learn or chime in. That t4r forum might have a ton of info but is unreadable imo. Its more ads than info

I'm on both 4runners.com and t4r. There's good info on both forums. Traffic on 4runners is a bit higher than the other, but traffic on both combined seems slow compared to TW. I've been on forums since the 90s, so maybe I'm just used to the interface. I don't see ads though :notsure:

Here and 4runners.com, those are the two sites i use for my 2004 4runner to ask questions, learn, etc. Theres not a ton of traffic in the 4th gen section on 4runners.com which is why i sort of post the same things on both sites.

I wanted to buy it from whoever owns it before starting 4runners.com but they never replied. The members on there are die hard and good people. Luckily we've had a number of them jump over

4Runners.com honestly sucks donkey dick compared to tacomaworld, it’s still an extremely small forum with just the same handful of guys who post and reply none of them really knowledgeable here like tacomaworld. T4r is more of an equivalent to Tacomaworld but as others pointed out their interface is so shitty I don’t even bother going there

That'd be me. I don't post on T4R much anymore because it's slow and the user base has taken a nosedive. I actually got roped into joining TW to plan a Dusy-Ershim trip with some other members here via PM. Sites so damn good I never left. Thanks for that.
